Trans Maritime is an independent Malawian based Logistics and Freight Forwarding company providing air, sea, road, import and export services globally.
We offer a variety of import and export services at competitive prices via a large network of overseas agents and a dedicated workforce.
Transmaritime was established in 1985, and for over this period, we have built up an excellent reputation within the industry.
The expansion of the company has seen the establishment of branches in Blantyre and Lilongwe, as well as border offices at the major entry points into Malawi. In addition, an Inland Container Handling Facility, GMS Container Terminals, was developed.
As a result, Trans maritime is now the market leader in the handling of containerised cargo imports into Malawi.
We have extended our services to the South African Market by providing Weekly LCL/ FCL/ FTL Services to and from South Africa with Named Day services to Blantyre and Lilongwe. A dedicated Consoles Division operates this service and has established Trans Maritime as a reliable operator for the route. We now can offer services from Far-East and Europe on LCC basis.

Handling well over 300 TEUS by ocean from Multiple Origins (including Far East/ UAE/ Europe and Australia) and over 500MT of LCL cargo from RSA every month, we provide value added services to over 200 private and publicly listed clients.
