The process of globalization has made the world a very small place today. The lifting of various barriers have rendered tl1e movement of materials from one place to another very common through- out the world.
In such scenario it was felt that Nepal also needed a system through which there could be a professionally managed avenue for movement of materials to and from Nepal.
This is where a core group of professionals got together in Trans Global Services Pvt. Ltd. In 2006. Since then it is growing from strength to strength from a staff of two to twenty as it stands today.
We mainly handle Export I Import cargo in Nepal by Sea, Surface and Air. Nepal being a land locked country, country does its Export or import primarily I mainly through Kolkata port, India by Sea. Kolkata port, from the very beginning, be it an Export or import by Sea. Since last two decades, they are also using Haldia Port, India. All companies in Nepal whether in the public or the private sector, conduct all export and import through Kolkata I Haldia port only for Sea shipments. In light of the recent decision by India to allow Nepal the usage of the 60 Kms “Corridor“to Bangladesh, they are now contemplating greater use of Chittagong l’Mongla port. We are also trying to start associate office in those places.
