OCEAN FREIGHT FORWARDING
To better handle your needs in ocean exporting we have broken down this large area of our service into Global Transportation, Bookings & Traffic, and Documentation.
This affords us the opportunity to search for better rates on your behalf, monitor each of your bookings on a daily basis with all parties involved (i.e. steamship lines, inland carriers, and terminal operators) in order to minimize late deliveries or rolled bookings, and ensure properly prepared documents are dispatched in a timely manner, thereby eliminating additional costs associated with delays and/or errors. Our staff is well versed in the logistical requirements not only in the U.S., but in the countries of destination as well and can advise you accordingly.
AIR EXPORT
Handled primarily from our Atlanta office, our air export program is IATA certified to give us the ability to obtain preferential pricing from most all commercial airlines, both freighter and passenger services. Page International is also certified by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) as an approved Indirect Air Carrier, subject to complete compliance with all applicable TSA rules and regulations.
This assures that Page International and all of our transportation vendors take the necessary steps to ensure your shipments are safe and secure while helping to protect the general public.
CARGO SURVEYING
Throughout the southeast, our cargo surveyors are available to inspect your cargo prior and during loading into a container and/or on board a vessel.
We are your eyes and ears and will advise you by report, including photos, of cargo not meeting your standards before leaving the country inbound to your customer. We also inspect inbound cargo for damages or piece count prior to actually leaving the port of entry.
