Since our inception in June 1997, Keltic Transportation has matured into a top tier, full service, asset based transportation solutions provider. Starting with five employees; our owner Noel Mullins, our current Senior VP Sales and Business Development Chris Steeves, and 3 drivers, our initial focus was as a full load refrigerated carrier. We eventually expanded into flatbed and then dry van business. Over time, Keltic’s business has evolved to include a growing Logistics division with an additional office in Ontario. From a humble beginning of 5 employees to a team of 200 strong today, Keltic continues to pursue opportunities for controlled and profitable growth throughout North America.
Keltic has partnered with an international freight forwarder to expand it’s service offerings. This partnership allows Keltic Transportation customers to ship their goods by air or sea anywhere in the world with the confidence they will receive the same exceptional service they have come to expect. We offer air services in export & import door-to-door, direct handling on 6 continents, and our partner owns and operates over 300 terminals worldwide. We also expanded our business to ocean cargo services which able us to offer cargo booking, equipment positioning, documentation banking services (Letters of Credits), Less Than Container Load (LCL), full Container Loads in 20’, 40’, 40’ High Cube, refrigerated containers, breakbulk, and project cargo.
Known for our outstanding people, clean modern equipment, and leading-edge technology, Keltic Transportation now offers regularly scheduled “dry van” LTL (Partial Truck Load) service between the Maritime Provinces and the Greater Toronto area and South Western Ontario. In addition, Keltic has established partnerships with quality carriers who provide LTL services between the Greater Toronto Area and the USA.
