ISHIMA Pte. Ltd., headquarterd in Singapore, was founded on 12th July 2005 in Singapore. A Private Company promoted by Italian ship owning group d’Amico, a family group from Italy.

d’Amico has been operating for over sixty years in all the following segments of the shipping industry: tankers and bulk carriers.

d’Amico is one of the world’s leader within the shipping industry and use its long tradition, skills, experience and values to provide value added services to its clients.

In 2008, ISHIMA Pte Ltd has established a joint venture with Cambiaso Risso Marine Group under the name of Cambiaso Risso Asia Pte Ltd, active in Marine Insurance Broking business.

In 2017, Ishima has merged his Agency Port Services activity (operated through a subsidiary) with Cambiaso & Risso (Singapore) Pte Ltd, part of Cambiaso Risso Shipping Agency Group, with coverage in Singapore, Hong Kong and Shanghai (all Chinese Ports).

Today, Ishima manages a fleet of more than 40 vessels and supervises construction of new building of over 100 vessels.

Ishima provides a broad spectrum of services like Technical Management, Newbuilding Supervision, Vessels Performance Monitoring, Procurement, Crew Management, Marine Insurance Brokering and Ship Agency Activities to its valued clients. Ishima have a strong presence in the regime of new building since 2008. We are specialized in supervision of the type of ships built that included product carriers, gas carriers, chemical tankers, bulk carriers and containers. The supervision services cover all the ship construction phases and specifically: assessment of sites with in-depth recon, the selection of the project manager, drawing approval and maker selection, construction supervision and commissioning, as well as final assessment and delivery.

The Vessels’ Performance Monitoring is one of the key services provided by the Ishima.

A specialized team ensures monitoring of emissions and energy consumption both on board the ships and ashore, guaranteeing, as well as the optimization of services and costs, the respect of European and international regulations in terms of maritime environmental policies.
