About Cargo24 AG
Cargo24 AG is a cooperative network of medium-sized logistics companies, all of which are owner-managed. We are the only cooperative network for general cargo and contract logistics in Switzerland. With our 19 system partners in Switzerland and two in Germany, we have a fleet of more than 1,050 vehicles and a storage area of 367,000 m 2 .
We do something for the economy and transport industry. In an open letter to the Federal Council, Prof. Wolfgang Stölzle, Dominik Hasler and Robert Einstein express their concern about the consequences of political measures for the Swiss transport industry. Urgent action is needed for drivers, transport companies and the wider economy to improve drivers’ working conditions and avoid further increases in costs due to new and increased government taxes.

The topics of green logistics and sustainability are of central importance at Cargo24. With the Cargo24 system, the number of kilometers can be reduced by up to 20% .

As one of the first logistics service providers in Switzerland, Cargo24 AG offers its customers the option of handling all transports in a CO2-neutral manner. As a customer, you receive certification that you can also use externally. Your contribution to CO2 compensation will be transferred in full to myclimate . Most of our vehicles now comply with the latest Euro 5 and Euro 6 standards. You and the environment benefit from this.
We are able to measure your carbon footprint (ecological footprint) in transport. In addition, we are constantly examining innovations in the logistics market that lead to an improved environmental balance and service performance.
Cargo24 has been a shareholder of Cargo sous terrain AG (CST) based in Basel since the beginning of June 2019. With its commitment to Cargo sous terrain, Cargo24 complements the longstanding involvement of various Cargo24 partners in CST, some of whom have been involved since the company was founded. With its participation in Cargo sous terrain, Cargo24 would like to set another example for the realization of the project. We support the project because it is an innovative and sustainable approach to solving some of today’s traffic and supply problems in cities. Cargo24 is always striving to find new and innovative solutions for the customer in order to improve the service and ensure the future supply of goods. That is why Cargo24 is involved in the field of city logistics.
